  • Let him throw the temper tantrum, it won't hurt him. When he throws something, take it away and do NOT give it back, firmly tell him "NO. We don't throw our toys." There is nothing wrong with him, he is a normal toddler.

  • Yeah, there's nothing wrong with him. He's normal. Let him throw the tantrums.

As far as scratching, ALWAYS tell him no and that's not nice. Try to keep his nails cut at all times until he's broken of this. This will help others from getting hurt and leaving marks. Kicking is just unacceptable. Let him know that it can hurt someone. Maybe time-out if he does it. As far as biting, when my son does it, or even tries to do it, I pop him in his mouth. Not to where it makes him cry, but just enough so he knows, NO! And like tyfry said, be firm. Don't give toys back, be strong and hold your ground. Have patience, he'll change.

  • I agree with all the advice above. None of that is acceptable behavior, and you just need to be firm, hold your gound and be consistant.

  • Along with all this advice make sure he gets enough one on one time with you and your SO. Plus praise him when he does things right. he needs a balance.

  • if he is throwing things make it known that it's not allowed even when he's mad... when he throws himself down just walk away and ignore it... oh and it will stop..
