  • When SHOULD kids start dating? When they are ready. Each child is different.
    When will I ALLOW my kids to date? When they start HS, until then they will have to be on "group" dates or have a chaperon.
    And no, gender doesn't matter... Rules in this house go for everyone male or female.

  • i wasnt ALLOWED to go on solo dates until i was 17. however i was crafty and dated before that without my parents knowing >

  • Good question! I have a five year old girl so hopefully I won't have to think about that for a few years at least. Although she is already asking if she can date when she is 10.

  • Gender doesn't make a difference for us. 16 is the minimum we will allow and even then it will depend on their dependability and maturity.
