What's on your Thanksgiving menu?

We have gone out to eat for several years but are staying in and cooking this year, but I don't want the same old, same old. Feel free to include recipes, if needed. Thanks for your help!

  • Ours will be the same old same old stuff, turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, niblet corn in butter, and dinner rolls. I did a non traditional thanksgiving dinner when my son was 6 or 7 and he keep asking me when we were going to have thanksgiving dinner it just wasn't thanksgiving to him without the turkey.

  • My Mom always made good ole Scottish Steak Pie with boiled red potatos,Califlower with cheese sauce, Hot Apple crumble with vanilla bean ice-cream, short bread with Hot Black tea, empire hubby wants all the traditional American fixings though and I think he would not know how to act if I made him my families traditional Thanksgiving dinner. :( Sure miss it though

  • We are a little up in the air on our exact Thanksgiving plans (DH is gone for training right now but will either be back right before Thanksgiving or right after) and now we have a friend and her family coming over for sure lol. So my dinner will include :

small turkey (roasted with sage and onion)
small ham (with my special glaze)
    cornbread dressing
    green bean casserole
    sweet potato casserole
    mashed potatoes
    homemade cranberry sauce
    cream cheese brownies
    pumpkin bars
    berry cobbler

To drink we will have a nice red wine, sodas, and juice for the kids
