  • Both of my parents are a pain. My father is difficult and my mother has no clue. So I do understand.

  • Yurp. My mom is starting to go through menopause, but she has always been super emotional and stresses her self out sooooo much over stuff thats just not normal. She adds to her own stress by worrying about other peoples problems and theyre not even family, its as extreme as co-workers!! UGG and her mom is like this. It drives me batty! Our phone conversations usually end quickly because she just aggravates me!

  • My SIl is the same way. I worry for when she and my brother have kids. She worries about every little thing, she has major OCD and body dysmorphia. She's a sweet girl, but she needs to get this stuff dealt with before they have kids!

  • my mom will treat me like her baby no matter how old I am lol. I mean ridiculous. When I was pregnant I got a uti and she actually told me (I was 27 years old BTW), "remember to wipe front to back!". I mean come on mom! geez! She does work at a pre school so i'm sure being around little kids all day makes her that way also lol. But she is a wonderful mom and grandma. We had some very toough years but that's in the past now. I miss her! She lives far away.

  • My mother was a worry wart, worried about things I wouldn't even consider a problem; however now that she's gone I would give almost anything to have her around. Both of my parents are gone, Mother since 1979 and Dad since 1993. Any problems you might have with your parents are a small thing compared to not having them around at all (in most cases). I do realize some parents perhaps do not fall into that category and are just problems.

  • Yes I think my mom acts like a skitzo but she has a nervous condition. But she thinks people are staring at her when they arent and she thinks people are talking about her when they arent. She thinks the worst of every situation. One time my husband bought me a little frame that said forget the rest I've found the best and I thought that was so sweet and I showed my mom. She said well I wonder why he gave you that maybe he's cheating on you!
