What do you do when you feel yourself getting a cold?

I try to drink as much water and orange juice as I can take...sometimes that knocks it out.

  • get extra rest, eat chicken soup and anything hot/spicy, take Nyquil if I'm not sleeping well.

  • I drink lots of water or some herbal tea for my ailments, I rest, rest, REST! chicken soup, any kind of comfort food really. if it's a throat thing I gargle with warm vinegar

  • I do inhalation-exhalation diligently, close nostril 1, inhale deeply from nostril 2,then without exhaling,close nostril 2 and exhale from nostril 1.Repeat inhaling from nostril 1 while closing nostril 2 and so on, for atleast 10 minutes.Works wonders when done before running nose sets in.
