Would you pay someone to wrap you Xmas gifts??

I'm thinking about trying to make some extra $$$ by wrapping peoples gifts for them- what do you think??
If I did this how could I go about advertising??

  • I would because I am the sloppiest wrapper ever. I would probably advertise on craigslist.org and make fliers.

  • Yes. We have people that set up at the mall and wrap for donations. Maybe you could see if they'd let you set up a booth at the mall? I surely would pay. I hate wrapping!

  • I don't think I would ask anyone to wrap my gifts, but my mom once wrapped gifts for a couple people. It was crazy in her house, she had hundreds of gifts laying everywhere! She made a little money. I don't know how you would advertise for it, she just suggested it to these two and they said it would be great.

  • While I am not a great wrapper, I do like wrapping my own presents. If you want to get into that as a business I would make up flyers and post them at stores, print up business cards and hand them out and maybe set up a table in the mall or other popular area. If you want to make it a steady business then I would make it known that you will "wrap for any occasion" and that might attract some steady or repeat clients. Good luck!!

  • Actually some of the major department stores look for holiday wrappers this time of year. When someone wants their purchases wrapped they take the packages to the lower level of the store to get their items wrapped.

  • I wouldn't for two reasons 1)money is tight 2)I enjoy wrapping presents.
