  • York. They're a nice dry, firm apple, both sweet & tart. They're excellent long storage apples, having a different flavor the longer you keep them. They're also excellent for pies, applesauce, tarts, etc. and fresh eating.

  • I really like the Macintosh apples! When I was little I liked red delicious, but now they are just too mealy for me for some reason. DD isn't an apple fan, unless it's applesauce. & only if I made it at home - she won't eat the store-bought.

  • honeycrisp is my favorite. they taste exactly like the name, sweet and crisp. golden delicious is my second favorite. my kids like them both as well. actually, my oldest never really ate apples much until i started buying honeycrisp....they're a bit more expensive than any other apple you'll find at the store, but well worth it!
