Positive OPKs

Can you have a positive OPK, but not ovulate??
I had a positive OPK, but then when charting my OPK my temperature was only high for one day... does that mean the egg didn't drop but LH surge was detected anyways?

  • sure can... We went through fertility testing when trying to get pregnant with our second... After two years we were having no luck... I was having my hight temp and my positive opks at different times, they tested me durring both and said I wasn't ovulating at all. We moved and ended up giving up on the fertility testing for a bit, and within six months I was pregnant, so I guess even if I wasn't ovulating then, it must have worked itself out!
