  • My DD did when he was younger and we found that he needed to have surgery to open the tip of his penis. It is very common and usually kids as old as 12 have to have this done.

A friend of mine's son is 12 and he still have accidents. he gets them when he grows because his bladder does not grow as fast as the rest of his body.

Hope it helps and good luck

  • My dd had trouble like this also. She had to have a minor surgery to open the urinary tract also. Very common in bed wetting girls or girls that constantly have to go to the bathroom because they never seem to finish. OUt patient surgery. Not too bad.

  • My son had a problem until he 7 or 8? He's 14 now. Our pediatrician gave us this little wetting alarm that you put in their undies. It has a sensor and beeps when he starts to wet. You have to get up with him in the middle of the night, make sure he wakes and gets to the toilet, but after a week, problem solved.
We found that wearing the pull-ups for so long, he never really felt himself wetting so he didn't learn to get up and go! They are great, but keep them "too dry" for them to be uncomfortable enough to learn :) Good luck!
