Why do most New Yorkers spend so much time thinking about money, rent, food, and their daily problems?

Not a lot of people can have a conversation about life, art, and nature.

  • I don't think it's just New Yorkers.

I think it's just about everyone..................

Those who live in high cost of living areas.
Those who live in economically depressed areas.
    Those who have lost jobs.
    Those who have stagnent wages.
Those who are worried about job stability.

I think the majority of people in this country are in some situation, or worried about a potential situation that causes them to focus on those sorts of things........instead of the "joys" and "pleasures" of life.

When one is constantly worried about finances and the "what if's" that come along with those worries. It's pretty hard to think about, talk about or focus on anything but those worries.
