"Refrigerate after opening" ... dumb question...

Is it ok to refrigerate BEFORE opening? Lol, I have more room in my extra fridge in the garage than I do in my pantry, and I like to stock up on stuff, is it ok to store unopened stuff in the fridge for a while? Like ketchup, olives, mayo, etc? Think it makes any difference?

  • yea, jarred and canned alike are fine. it will not prolong, or damage them unless you freeze it in the jar. LOL we all know what happens then

  • I do it when I think we are going to need to use something pretty soon because the other thing is running out (like mayo or whatever) because I like it to be cold when I use it.

  • Before opening it can either be stored in cupboard or refrigerator, whichever you prefer, but after opening, you must store it in refrigerator. There are no dumb questions on here.
