Babies heartbeat

I had my 30 week check up today. My little girls heartbeat was high around 170 and she was moving around alot. Her heartbeat would then go down to around 150's but then back up. My doctor listened for a while but said she wasnt concerned because she was kicking a lot and they are like us their HB increases when they exercise....I am still very nervous about it.

  • Mine has been from 120 to 165. No worriers. It all depends on if baby is sleeping or active.

  • Its nothing to worry about. If your Dr is alarmed, you shouldnt be either. If you are really worried, get a fetal doppler heart monitor for your own use.

  • My husband got me a fetal heart listener thingy for Christmas last year. Sometimes I could hear the heartbeat, sometimes I couldn't. I stressed out big time, especially as I got closer and passed my due date. New mommies are like that. My son, now 4 months old, was a healthy and big baby. No health problems of any kind. Don't stress. Your doctor knows what's normal. As long as your LO is kicking and moving on a regular basis, there's no cause for worry.

  • Went back to the doctor today...the babies heartbeat was totally normal. I feel relieved. I guess she was just wound up at my last appointment!!
