how do u treat a cold naturally

well i think im coming down with a cold! i have been gargling salt water every morning for my sore throat and i have taken a few hot showers to breath in the stream for my runny nose! i think i have a fever as well! so im drinking lots of water! im nursing so i cant take any meds! so how do u treat a cold naturally?

  • garlic is a natural antiviral. take 1 3x per day.

  • Those vitamin C packets you mix with water once or twice a day they are the same as that air born stuff.. Also lots of fluids and tons of rest. Orange juice also helps lol hence vitamin c. Eat healthy lots of protein and not to much running around.

  • homemade chicken soup - it is not an old wives tale, it has been scientifically proved to help (sorry, no, i do not have any links. should be easy to google if you want.). hot tea, staying well hydrated. plenty of rest!

  • Also in addition to all the rest of the above, if your stomach can handle it, take cayenne pepper in capsule form. Also, drink the juice of one lemon per day... basically half twice a day.
