  • Congratulations, you have 2 year old! :) Very normal. They start thinking more for themselves, making their own decisions, and testing their limits. Make sure you offer her healthy meals, if she doesn't eat it that's up to her. She won't starve.

  • My daughter is 3 and would eat whatever we made for dinner.. now she don't like potatoes, cheese, peas, (all of her once faves).. she don't like lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber

  • Yes, my son ate almost anything his first year, and now he's really picky. Plus, he fixates on certain foods, so he'll like something then he'll suddenly hate it and constantly ask for something else he's fixated on--unfortunately after we already prepared it for him. I'm hoping it's just a toddler thing. I put whatever we're eating on his plate and just let him eat what he wants, because I don't to create food issues for him. I sneak vegetable purees into things I know he'll eat (e.g. yogurt, oatmeal, spaghetti sauce, muffins, pancakes, etc) and give him a multi-vitamin for some extra assurance that he's getting enough vitamins and minerals. Luckily he does like a couple vegetables like sweet potatoes and avocados (occasionally spinach if mixed with cheese or in a sauce) and just about every fruit he's tried. He's picky about meat though, so he gets low iron if I'm not careful, but the vitamin helps.

  • Sounds like my 17 month old. Some days she eats well some days she doesnt. I read somewhere once that you need to consider how well they eat over a week vs the day. Alot of the time it isnt what you give them but what they would rather be doing....

  • My DD is getting to be that way. But I just continue to feed her healthy food, and when she gets hungry, she eats it.
