Is this a fair price??

watching 2 kids 40 hours a week for 175....(not doing the whole tax thing)?? The kids are 2 and 3 and you have to teach the kids out of work books

  • That's $17.50 per day per child - in our area it's around $25 a day. I think that's a very fair price.

  • I think when my kids were that young I paid a day care about a hundred each, so it's pretty fair.

  • that is about 2.18 per kids.. seems more then fair... most places i know are at least 3.50 per kid per hour

  • Not doing the whole tax thing? You should explore the interest and penalties you can be assessed, if you choose that (illegal and immoral) road.

  • Rk if she doesn't report it, and the people who pay her don't report it, no one will find out anyway. LOTS of people care for children TAX FREE. OP you have to make sure the families paying you AGREE about the tax thing, otherwise you'll get into TROUBLE. Yeah technically it is illegal, but screw the IRS. The government takes so much of our money as it is.
