is it normal for a baby tooth to come out partially then go back into the gum?

  • Yes. Think of it like labor. 1 step forward 2 steps back. It can take a month for a tooth to break thru and stay from the time it starts coming out.

  • The tooth probably didn't go back in. The gum swelled up around it.
