okay sooo my daughters bf has 2 kids by different mothers both the mothers cheated on him and yea he has 50 50 custody and now one of the mothers says hes an unfit parent and iam worried like i dont even like him that much but he is a good dad he lives in sandiego and goes up to la for every soccor game and school events and i am just worried like she wants him to not be able to see him at all. any suggestions or help to fight.

  • There are lots of organizations that support Father's Rights. I'd suggest you look for a non-profit group in his area.

  • she can't stop him from seeing the child if he has 50/50 custody. She's have to prove he is unfit. She needs to define "unfit" and see if it corresponds to the states definition of it. However, the previous poster's idea of finding a father's right org is an excellent one.

  • If they have joint custody, she can't keep the child from him unless she can prove that he is unfit. End of story :)

  • that mother may be jealous of your daughter. as long as he keeps being the good father you say he is he should have nothing to worry about. you have to prove someone unfit you can't just say it and its true. don't stress. one more thing...does he know they are his for sure?

  • Honey, the mother is probably mad because the child father doesnt want to be with her any more. like everyone else said if the judge already granted 50/50 custody and he knows he hasn't done anything to jeopardize his custody rights he should be fine.
