Need a great name!

I'm in the process of writing a children's book and I am looking for a great name for the child in the book. Suggestions?

  • You didn't say how old the child in your book is going to be. But for a younger child, I would keep the name to one syllable. Like, Sue, Rose, Gus, Ben, Tom, Mark, Joe, Jay, Ken, Wes, Jan, Jim, Ray, Lee, Nan, Vic, Tim, Kate, or Luke.

  • I'll leave it up to you ladies to post boy or girl, common or unique. When I hear just the right name, I'll vote you best answer and use that one!! Thanks for the help- I've been stuck on this for weeks! :)

  • Well, how about Ghengis, a name my friend's husband chose if they had a boy? Too bad for him they had five girls and he wasn't able to use the name.

How about a simple name like Terry (my son's name)?
