best tips on how to help your 15 month old break a fever/ get over a cold.

My son developed a fever early this morning and I'm just trying to find out what tips to help breakit...

  • Keep clothing to a minimum and maybe put him in a tepid bath. You don;t say how high a fever or exactly how old he is. You could give or feed small bits of popsicle. You could also give him the recommended dose of your choice of fever reducer but if it isn't to high you could get away without it. Just keep an eye on it so it doesn't spike (103-104)

  • Sorry I noticed after I answered that he is 15 months. Yo could give him small pieces of popcicle. I used to put them in the tub and give them one.

  • 1. I would run a cool bath
    2. Offer lots of liquids
    3. Tylenol
    4. Light outfits
    5. Humidifier will help with the congestion

  • lots of fluids, especially water, it will break when it breaks
    Don't overdress him especially at night, don't turn up the heat in his room
