do you & your family dress up for Thanksgiving?

I always host at my home. I don't expect DF to or ask him to. But he will throw on some slacks & a nice collar shirt. I will being wearing this incredible white dress. DD will be wearing a dark green party dress. I do not expect my guests to dress in any particular way, though most of them seem to dress for the occasion.

  • We dress up a bit. Not formal but not casual. The girls will all be in matching dresses.

  • I usually dress up a bit and dress the kids all cute. Especially if we're going somewhere or if we're having people over.

  • Nope, when my family hosted it as a kid I would, but to hubby's family we already dress "fancy" because we don't show up in sweats. We will be hosting Christmas in our home this year with a mix of family and friends so we will be dressed up a bit more for that.

  • No. It's casual. The holidays are stressful enough so why put more stress on people? Just relax and be comfy. But not sloppy!
