  • No, I respect their wishes to not want to talk about it. There's a million other things to talk about. I'm sure there's things they like that I have no interest in, as well and I appreciate that they respect that. That respect is partly why we're friends.

  • I have leanrned not to make assumptions anymore! I have a good friend I always figured was an atheist, but she turned out to be a non-practicing Catholic and I was stunned. It's none of my business anyway, and I love her the same no matter what religious affiliation she chooses.

  • Why would you?

  • No, absolutely not.

I usually think the exact opposite, that we don't have similar beliefs. I don't know many people outside my church who are Hindu.

  • I personally do not... but know a lot of ppl IRL that do....
Wither or not I know what or IF any religious background a friend is, they still and always will
have my respect, friendship and love. Religion isn't a requirement for friendship ( IMHO )

  • No if I have not talked with someone about their beliefs then I do not assume anything, even if we are friends. Usually we talk about all kinds of things and if religion comes into the conversation we talk. If we don't agree we may never talk about it again, although it does not change our friendship.
