What over-the-counter meds do you NEED to have in your cabinet?

I really need to down grade.

  • LOL! I was just thinking about that this morning!! For us, Tylenol (kids and adults), Immodium, Pepto Bismol, and Tums.

  • personally, we need decongestant, anti-diarhhea, headache, fever-reducer/aspirin, a gas-reliever, and nasal-spray. that's pretty much all we keep on hand, other than things for cuts/abrasions, alcohol, bandaids.

  • i know i have a drug store...i have two cabinets full and i swear i go through every couple of months and toss stuff out. I like to keep tylenol, motrin, allery relief, throat spray, pepto, theraflu, stool softner, vicks...i keep adult and child of all of these

  • "oscillococcinum" it will stop a cold/flu dead in it's tracks before it get anywhere and if you already have it, it will make recoop time a lot shorter.

  • It's good to have the basics handy so you don't have to go out sick or with a sick child. We have in ours Pain/fever reliever for adults and kids, pro-biotic, decongestant, band-aids, neosporin. We also have my DD prescription cortisone and ear pain reliever she was prescribed not to long ago because it seemed good to keep on hand.

  • cough syrup, tylenol, excedrin, kids ibuprofen - are the must haves. I should clean out and get rid of all the old stuff and the stuff we don't use.

  • Tylenol (4y has fevers a lot and 5yo has recurring migraines) excedrin, neosporine, bug spray (mosquitoes), bandaids... We don't do the cough meds.
