Easy to make Christmas decorations

I'd like to sit and make christmas decorations with my son, who's 3, so they need to be pretty easy to make, but I'd like something I can hang on the tree every year, or hang on the wall...suggestions? Money is limited.

  • You can get packs of foam that have sticky backs on them and cut them out into shapes and make oranaments. My MIL did this with my DS and nephew a few weeks and they came out really cute. She made snowmen and snow flakes, and you can even add glitter to them. I think the packs are about 10 bucks at Wal Mart in their craft section.

  • flour dough ornaments are fun, easy, and inexpensive. Just do a search on line for a recipe. Basically flour, salt, oil, a touch of water. then paint them with water colors, or craft paint.
