Running from my fears, an eternal nightmare I wake up to.
What day is it? Have I yet begun to bleed?

Internal organs disgorged up from a blistered mouth
Begins in the womb, takes over everything.

Headaches, dizziness, aversion to every scent;
Am I bleeding yet?

Foul doctor confirms the abhorrent presence of this most unwelcome and foul beast within me.

Fuck this.
Fuck this.
Fuck this.
Fuck you.

Let me find a way away from this.
To bring Him back from the brink.

But you are vengeance incarnate.

Devouring the shards of my pre-broken soul, you suck what remained of me dry.

A small clinic exhumes you from my crotch and death breathes over, laughing.
Screaming later that night, you are a loathsome being.

Vengeance incarnate comes for me. The malevolent creature.
Surrounds me with doom, with doubt.

  • I am left running, a malignant nightmare I live daily.
Sweat pours and mingles with blood on the floor of a bathroom stall.

I became a pawn. I fell too quick, to hold you any longer.
An entity of far greater power fails in my crater.

Trembling anxiety abounds with traces of execrable memories and rolling hate.

With a round of applause and smiling approval, a pair of arms to suffocate me with love, I trudge on.
A bleak smile plastered onto my face like a money shot is all that remains with the promise of a better tomorrow.

Tomorrow I will wake to the same nightmare,
Oh that boy is lucky I love him!
Oh that boy is lucky I love him.
    That boy is lucky…

To save his sanity -- I suck -- the parasite out of me.

I am finally released of his infernal creature.
    Soul freed, Happiness avenge me.
Soul freed, now by death I will sleep,
    Soul freed, Happiness avenge m

  • I think you're incorrect because it's still there and I've never posted questions about poems in answers before. I've been on this site nearly since its inception, but I wrote this poem in June, I've barely been to CM since then.

  • Yes I wrote it...it's in my journals. I wrote it because I miscarried a baby in Sept. 09 that I wanted and my SO didn't. I felt trapped and lost the entire pregnancy then heartbroken and alone whenever I lost it. Everyone acted like they were only concerned with me. None of them cared about our baby.

  • I have a lot of similar poems in my journal as well. Follow my writing style, it's clear to see those are mine.
