  • baby bingo: you get blank bingo cards and have the guests fill in the presents they think you'll get. As you unwrap, they check off the ones they wrote that you've gotten. The first person with a bingo wins.

Dirty diaper: put wrapped herseys in all but one diaper.. the person with the unwrapped hersey has the dirty diaper and wins

Word scramble: Scramble up words that are baby related and the first person to unscramble them all (or whoever gets the most in 10 minutes) wins.

Guess the amount in the jar: fill up a jar with candy or a baby bottle bank with things the mother to be might need (pacifiers, safety pins, baby manicure stuff, etc) and have them guess the amount. The person the closest wins.

Guess the Girth: Have guest cut off a piece of string they think will fit around mommies belly, and the person who is closest wins.

  • Putting little safety pins in a bowl of rice and blindfolding people to see who can grab the most safety pins. That game is impossible!!

  • Place a 'pin' on each guest and whoever says "baby" gets theirs taken away. Person with the most gets a gift bag or something special :)

  • Measuring the mom's belly with string or toilet paper is usually fun, as long as the mom isnt oversensitive!! Another fun game that is different, is buying little tiny "babies" at the party store and freezing them in cubes of ice. The guests then have to melt the cubes anyway they can ( sucking on them, dropping them in their coffee, melting them in their hands) and the first person to get their baby out has to yell "My water broke!" I played that once at a baby shower. It was a hoot watching everyone trying to melt their ice cubes first.

  • I forget what it was called, I think it was "Guess the Poop" or something like that - LOL - basically, you take 3 different diapers and melt a different chocolate bar in each one, and it looks like poop -Then the guests come up and smell the different diapers and try and guess what chocolate bar is in each!

  • Buy a dozen jars of different flavors of babyfood. Ahead of time, write a number on each lid, and make a list of what flavor is in each jar and it's corresponding number. Peel the labels off the jars. Everyone gets a piece of paper to guess what flavor is in each jar based only on color (no tasting -the mother gets the jars later, along with the list of what's in each one). Whoever guesses the most correctly, wins. Especially mean is to include a lot of different flavors with similar colors (mostly green or mostly orange).

  • prices:

little gift bags that can include things like $10.00 gift card to a coffee shop, bath gift sets, candles, chocolates and/or candies, etc.
Basically whatever you think would be nice as a gift, and that is in your budget. Try to have a gift bag per game, and a few extras in case of ties

For those extras that didn't get taken, try a game like:

Advice raffle: have the guests fill out cards with advice, then randomly grab one at a time until extra gift bags are gone.
