Isn't It Sad When Comedians Have A Better Handle on Poilitics?

Jon Stewart is at it again. Isn't it Anderson Cooper's job at "Keeping Them Honest"? Either way, Jon did a great job pointing out the truth, and probably making a lot pf people sweat.

  • hmm... considering I've never know Jon Stewart to say anything I agree with, I will choose to be to lazy to go to the link on this one. ;)

  • Jon is always spot on. Pubs may not appreciate his candor but the rest of us would rather laugh a little at political crap than be screamed at by the likes of Glen Beck.

Yes, because ALL conservatives are brainwashed by Glenn Beck and only liberals are intelligent enough to appreciate Stewart

(except, it's funny, when he takes a jab at them, they never realize he's making fun of them, they always think he's complementing them - that's half the entertainment right there)

  • Most comedians need to stick with attempting to be funny rather than spouting what they do not know.

  • I love Jon Stewart ALMOST as much as I love Stephen Colbert, heh. But yes, I do believe both of them have a better grasp on what's going on than Beck & Co.

  • I agree Anouck. Both men are more intelligent and wise than any of our elected officials...well, aside from another former commedian.

  • Most comedians sure duck, but Stewart and Colbert are highly intelligent and know A LOT about politics, why else do they have their own shows dedicated to current events? They take the edge off hot topics and make us laugh, sometimes at ourselves. How Carp thinks that is what's wrong with this country is beyond me. Guess she lost her sense of humor. I'd take laughter over a screaming lunatic like Beck any day of the week!
