Help I'm in pain, I hurt my back and not sure what to do!!!

I bent over this morning to help my son put on his shoe, and went I went to straighten myself I felt a really sharp pain in my lower back! It hurts when I walk, or try to twist or lean back and when I take a really deep breath. What can it be? What should I do? Call my doctor, or go to the e.r., or just rest? I already took some pain pills and muscle relaxers and its not helping! Please help!

  • Get seen. You might need something stronger.

  • First, try to relax. U r stressing and that will make your muscles tight. Use a heating pad. U pulled a muscle,no need to go to the e.r. or doctor. Put on Ben Gay,it a a cream or ointment muscle relaxer. Lay down on a heating pad and relax.
