At what age does a baby begin to be fun??

When does a baby begin to get a personality? Also, when are the big milestones? (holding head up, sitting, crawling, talking...ect.)

  • Son has been fun since He started moving in my belly! Just because it's a baby doesn't mean he/she isn't fun. As far as milestones, every kid is different and the ages they're" supposed" to do things are just averages.

  • Milestones, first smile, holding head up. first giggle/laugh, crawling, first word, walking.

I really like babies when they are 6 months old. It's so easy to make them smile:)

  • I think at every age a baby is fun and there are different experiences with every milestone. The first night in the hospital after i had my daughter, my husband was holding our daughter and looked at me and said okay so when can she start running and play catch and we can team up and scare you, this question reminded me of that. Cherish them while they are small, my now 5 year old is so much fun but what i would love to just go back to when she was a newborn and cherish it 10x more then i did.

  • I'm like -A-J, I started having fun with my daughter while she was in my belly, the way she kicked back at me if I rubbed my tummy. She's been a very social girl since she was born & started cooing & smiling back at us when she was about 4-6 weeks old. Started laughing at about 3 months, which was so wonderful, anything made her laugh..still does! She's going to be a year next week & is a LOT of fun/drives me crazy, haha. She's walking all over the place & is her own person entirely now. It's so cool to see a personality develop in a baby.

  • Milestones: depends on the baby, I would get the book What to expect the first year, great book to give you info about milestones etc. But, enjoy this time. Mine started to show a little personality around 3 months!
But, it gets more and more fun as the months go by!!
