  • I make all different kind of pies since we all have a different favorite and I want everyone to enjoy something. DH likes Pecan, I like Pumpkin, DS likes Cherry, DD likes Lemon and other DD likes Apple.
I also make a batch of pumpkin bars for the night before so that they don't eat all the pies.

  • You could buy a white cake mix, white- not butter, and a pistachio instant pudding mix. Cool whip and slivered almonds. You make the white cake and add the pudding mix into it than bake. Don't make pudding, just add the mix to the bowl. Bake and cook. Then frost with cool whip and garnish with the slivered almonds. It's a cold cake to serve so once you cool and frost it put it back in the fridge untill dessert time. (you can use any instant pudding mix you want instead too)
