Winter pregnancy in the snowy parts of the world

I discovered during mine that there is practically no such thing as a maternity winter coat (there are a few, but only online and quite expensive). If you were in your third trimester during the bitter cold parts of winter, how did you dress for the weather?

  • I didn't have that problem with my daughter, but I'm finding it to be a problem now with this pregnancy and as it gets colder. I guess I'll mostly be doubling my layering under my sweater, and wear a coat (even though I can't button it up).
