  • We spend nearly every holiday with the in laws because DH and my family don't get along. It must be nice to come from the perfect family...

  • That is funny my in-laws haven't spoken to us since august either, then today my husband gets a message on his phone and they want to stop by this weekend (they live 5 hrs. away) Thankfully we have other plans for the holidays this year-just not wanting all the drama. Its a damn good thing that my DH is so wonderful otherwise I wouldn't ever make it!!

  • ME! ME! ME!
my MIL never calls us, nor did she ever come over to visit (when we lived just 5mins away!)..my SIL is the same..and yet, dh wants to go to their thanksgiving gettogether. my family is 'there' for us all the time, in all ways..but, fine. we'll do it this year.

  • I'm hoping we go see my father-in-law for Thanksgiving. The boys only get to see their grandfather once a year and it's a nice drive so I'm looking forward to it (if we end up going).
