Are you super strict, super laid back or somewhere in between?

I was always telling my kids no and then one day I wondered why? As long as nobody is getting hurt they can do what they want pretty much now.

  • I'm none of those things, or all of them, depending on who you ask, and what year it was.....sometimes what day....

  • I'm in between. I only get strict when they do / want to do things they shouldn't be doing. Otherwise it's all good.

  • Our boys would say we're strict. I had friends with "laidback' parents, and I see how their kids turned out, and know why my parents were "strict". We're active parents, and if that means being strict, then I guess that's what were are.

Btw, we get compliments on our boys all the time, so what we're doing must be working, and we're very proud of our boys.

  • I think I'm very strict, but apparently I'm not strict enough because the kids still do stupid stuff.

  • In between but leaning a little bit more towards strict.
