Ladies, I need to pick your brains.

What can cause red, raised bumps on the left ribcage only that are not itchy?

Yes I have taken my kid to the doctor but the doctor's two ideas don't fit. He is testing for mine but the results won't be back till the morning. So just trying to figure out what this could be.

  • Contact dermatitis

  • Allergic reactions are not always itchy, nor are viral rashes (but they usually travel). Contact Dermatitis seems likely enough if it is localized, could simply have contacted something which irritated the skin.
    No other symptoms, huh?

  • My son had that but it was caused by dry weather and he has sensitive skin. Sorry, I couldn't help more. Allergies, to food or laundry detergent?

  • Wasn't near any of his allergens. He does also complain of a sore throat and stomach ache but throat wasn't 'too bad' according to the doctor.

  • Sorry ladies, I told CM to put this in the health section but obviously there was a hiccup in the system. I am going to close it and move it. I just realized it posted to the wrong section.
