  • ..........♥ maybe only adults should be able to buy them

Answer by gracelessstar21 at 11:15 AM on Nov. 17, 2010

  • I agree with the pp. Adults should be the only ones to buy them, but that honestly doesn't mean anything. They will get to kids.

  • i've never tried an energy drink.. but i did try energy pills once.. the yellow jackets... i thought i was going to die. i shouldn't have taken it with mitral valve prolapse.

  • I agree I think that kids should have them. My husband is addicted to Redbull, and I really believe that his bloodpreasure is really bad because of it. We go to Sam's club and buy it because it's cheaper, but he'll have a case gone in a week, which is really bad! But which is worse, drinking at a bar, being sloshed away from your family, or drinking a few redbulls a day! That's where I feel he could be, so I guess I could be wrong too, but who knows!

  • Maybe not sell it to the under 18 crowd. The government will have to pry my Red Bull from my cold, dead hands. Even if I only drink one or two a month. Alcoholic energy drinks just sound bad. Okay, I know people do jagerbombs or have vodka and Red Bull together. Will they ban bartenders from making those concoctions because caffeinated energy drink and high proof alcohol are mixing?

I'm from the government and I'm here to help...

  • I do think they should have age restrictions...

  • Those drinks are nasty. If people want to put that sugary garbage in their bodies that's their prerogative, just don't sell it to teens!!

  • Someones wasting their down votes.

  • If energy drinks have alcohol in them, they should probably be sold at a liquor store where they are much more likely to be checking id's than convenience stores are. Kid's will still get their hands on them though

Answer by meriana at 1:53 PM on Nov. 17, 2010

  • I've never tried them but the minute you say "no" to teens, that's what they are going to want to do.
