I bought ham from the deli on Saturday, it should still be okay shouldn't it?

  • I keep it for a week then throw it out if no one eats it.

  • Deli meat is good for 3-4 day, as long as it has been refrigerated. If you have left it out of the refrigarator for 2 hours at any time, then it is only good for 1-2 days.

  • Yes, as long as it is not slimy it is ok.

  • Yes it should be fine. I buy a lot of deli meat and sometimes it lasts up to 3 weeks. After that I always question it so I usually throw it out if it hasn't been eaten by then.

  • I notice in about a week it starts to go bad if I keep it in the deli bag. I remove it from the bag and separate each piece with wax paper, wrap in paper towel and place into a container. This method keeps it good for about 11 days.
