  • I sometimes will, but usually no one does. It's mostly jeans and football jerseys, LOL.

  • We sure do! There are not many opportunities anymore to get everyone together and I feel it's so important that we treat the occasion as special.
This year will be very difficult, our first Thanksgiving since my husband's death, but we'll still have a special day and I'm so thankful for all that we have.

  • Yes. Usually more casual-dressy if we're hosting, and a little dressier if we're visiting.

  • Not at all. A formal dinner was a huge thing for my family growing up and it was terribly uncomfortable. When I met my first husband and attended his family's Thanksgiving dinner there were over 30 people in attendance and everyone wore jeans and t-shirts and were served buffet style off of a covered pool table. Everyone seemed so relaxed and conversation just seemed to flow. I loved it and decided that if I ever hosted a holiday dinner there was never going to be dress code attached and that's how we've done it ever since.

  • I do too. Life's too short not to treat special days and special activities as special ... and dressing up is just one way to do that.
