What is the difference between the date you had intercourse and your conception date?

  • Conception is when the egg implants in the uterine wall... which doesn't happen until the fertilized egg travels down into the uterus.

  • Sperm can live in the vagina for days, and implantaition could take as much as a week...so it's not neccecarily the day you had sex. That's why it's not accurate to speculate.

  • Conception is the fusing of sperm and egg. It is not implantation. To different things . So you have sex , lets say Monday, But the sperm and egg do not fuse ( become one) tell wednesday. Hope that is clear. You are not considered pregnant tell implantation is complete.
