  • at 5 months my son was eating some baby food and most table food as long as he was able to swallow it without a problem as far as changing ...i would as often as needed with my son i would change every 1/2 hr needed or not just so there was no chance of diaper rash.....but if your not comfortable with giving him table food just stick to trying diffrent stage 2 or 3 baby foods

  • My son was exclusively breastfed on demand until he was 6 months old. No other foods at all until then. He was changed maybe 6 times a day at that age, on average. I just kept an eye on his diaper all the time and changed it when it needed to be changed. He never had a problem with diaper rash, though, so I think I got lucky in that department.

  • You change him when he's wet or poppy, you feed him when he's hungry...he probably is on yellow and orange veggies and rice cereal by now I would guess.

  • Yep...change when wet or dirty, feed when hungry.

My boys were eating three meals (one stage 2 jar and an 8oz bottle at least) and three other 8oz (at least) bottles during the day. I only used babyfood to do the trials on different foods. we started introducing table foods at 6 months and that's all they ate at 9 months.
