Christmas gifts for teachers...

Ok, I'm starting to get my Christmas ideas done early....I'm looking for some ideas that would be good for my daughter (3yo) to make for her preschool teacher. I know cookies would be great, but does anyone have any other ideas?

  • How about hand lotions (scented), mints and gift cards (most teachers spend their own cash for class supplies and teaching aids)?

  • Bath salts and lotions for a spa bath at home. Lord knows the teachers could use a Calgon take me away moment after teaching kids all day. LOL Gift baskets are always a good idea.

  • Before you make something, check that the teacher eats home made food. Where I worked, no teacher would go near home made food. Of course, I worked in very unsafe areas. Gift cards, lotions, and note card type items are always good.

  • We're getting our 6th grade teacher a class gift (Mastercard or Visa gift card.) I sent out the collection notices on Saturday. Then, each student is going to either write a poem or a story OR draw a picture for her.
