wat type of milk do ur kids drink?

once my dd is 1 i was going to switch her to milk! but im not sure which kind? we dont drink much milk right now. i dont like milk at all and her daddy is lactose intalrent (sp)! so what kind of milk did u give ur kids?

  • at that age 2%~organic or no growth hormone, now it nonfat unless i make yogurt and then it higher fat again~

  • My son drank skim milk from 1 year on. He was eating a lot of other foods with fat and calcium...cheese, yogurt, ice cream, etc. NO human needs to drink milk as long as they are getting fat and calcium from other sources.

  • DS drinks soy milk, because he's lactose intolerant, but from what our doctor has said, if you have a family history of obesity, then your child should go straight to 2%. Otherwise, whole milk is fine.

  • My daughter's doctor had me give my daughter whole milk at least from year 1 to 2. It is all my hubs drinks though so I buy whole milk for them and skim for me.
