1 &2 year old with flu

what should i give my 1 & 2 year olds to eat and drink? when they r throwing up and have diarea and light fevers?

  • Clear fluids, jello, chicken broth, pedialyte. Light foods, applesauce. Popsicles.

  • My son had H1N1 last year, when he had just turned 2. Luckily, he's still breastfeeding, so I always just nurse him as much as he wants and I know he's getting everything he needs. If they aren't nursing, just make sure they're getting lots of fluids. Popcicles can make that easier. Hope your kiddos feel better soon.

  • Clear Liquids. Then once they keep that down try BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauc & Toast) for a day or two until they are well enough. Then move onto softer blander foods.
