i love my crockpot and i have a package of ribs in the freezer that i have no idea how to cook. im not a fan really except when my dad makes them but he uses the grill and that i do not have. i would obviously have to cut them in half cause it's too long to fit in it otherwise, and probably layer them one on top of the other.
my question is, what seasonings do i use and any other liquids besides bbq sauce, like beef broth or something? how long should they cook for?

|CROCK POT BRAISED SHORT RIBS|
4 lb. beef short ribs
Dredge ribs in flour, salt and pepper. Brown well. Layer onions, ribs and liquid. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-6 hours.
