All Troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan starting this summer.

Obama stated to UN.Heard on MPR news today that starting this Summer all troops will be out of Iraq and Afghanistan by 2014. I hope this is truth!

  • The one thing that they forget to include in these news briefings is that all "combat" troops are coming home which means noncombat troops like state national guard units will be sent over to replace them.

  • I didn't personally see the news report you are talking about so it could be, but every other one i have heard it says they combat troops are coming home.

  • Won't hold my breath on this one. We have never completely withdrawn from Korea, Germany, Sinai, and we will more then likely never completely withdraw from Afghanistan. Probably Iraq, too. But, he makes his promises, and people cheer. One things for sure, Obama knows what people WANT to hear. He just can't deliver.
