how long are ur childs doc appointment?

I feel like our doc doesn't care she is just in and out in 10min or less! i find out her height and weight and doc says everything is great and leaves! really?? i feel like i dont even have time to ask questions or that im wasting her time when i do! should it be this way or should i switch docs?

  • It's standard for doctor's secretaries to schedule appointments every 10 - 15 minutes. Speak up and tell your doctor you'd like more of her attention to answer your questions. She cannot read your mind.

    And try being happy your child is healthy. I am sure the parents of sickly children would love a quick appointment that doesn't end in more bad news or procedures that are painful and draining to their child. Doctor's are not Gods. She works for YOU. Say something.

  • SPEAK UP and ASK the questions you have. Doctors are not mind readers. The average appointment is 15 minutes long. If you have concerns then bring them up.
