What do you do with the extra food?

Leftover from Thanksgiving? I love turkey sandwiches

  • I have a daughter in college and I get tins with lids at the Dollar Tree...what I do is make up a bunch of meals with those pans, write the baking instructions on the lid and send her home with 4 to 6 home cooked meals

  • i do not cook a full meal for thanksgiving, but when i do make a turkey other times we eat 2 meals and the rest gets frozen for later - it is the only reason i make a turkey is to have the leftovers in the freezer for later quick meals!

  • we freeze whatever we don't eat. that way when we are hungry and don't feel like cooking we can take it out, defrost it, heat it up, and get creative
