  • You know what the difference between God and Barack Obama is, don't you? God doesn't think he's Barack Obama!

  • Too sarcastic and not appropriate. He IS the President after all. They need to show more respect! Newsweek is basically loyal to the right.

Newsweek is loyal to the left. That is why they merged with the daily beast. A very left propaganda tool. And the cover portrays him as a Hindu God.

  • And if you had any sense at all gerpie, you would read what the heading is on the paper. It is indicating that they believe the job of the presidency is to much for one person. Get a freakin clue.

  • Shut up. When you start insulting people here and questioning intelligence, you have crossed the line and are no longer are debating. You are just exulting in your ability to be a mean, self-satisfied ,narcissist. Not a good person. . I feel for your family. And ,besides the others here (Lorikeet,Grly,TN and ....Grace..), do you even HAVE any friends? I doubt it.
    So, shut up.

You insult people all the time on here so quit playing the Crazy old hag.

  • I'm not sure how Obama is being expected to handle more than Bush was expected to handle. In fact, Bush had 9/11 and Katrina to deal with on top of it all. I'm not a Bush fan, either. But this is clearly making excuses for Obama - it's saying that it's not Obama's fault if anything goes wrong, it's that people are expecting too much of him. I'm surprised they went with the Hindu god imagery though, as I bet many people don't know the difference between Hindu and Muslim so they risk people being up in arms thinking they are accusing Obama of being Muslim.

  • gerpie, I doubt you even know your right from your left.

Answer by Carpy at 11:02 PM on Nov. 18, 2010

  • BEFORE the Daily Beast started buying Newsweek. It WAS Pro-Republican. Give it up,Crapy.
The cover doesn't show him in a good light. It is sarcastically saying he thinks he can do anything.

OMG gerpie, What planet are you from?? The daily beast did not BUY themthey are MERGING. A right wing publication is not going to merge with a very leftwing publication They are HISTORICALLY left wing. Your lack of intelligence actually leaves me just speechless at times.

Answer by Carpy at 11:15 PM on Nov. 18, 2010

  • Kerp-Gertie-LindaLu,

Newsweek has been an extream lift-wing mag for years.

My husband and I have known Carpy folks since WW ll. I remember when Carpy was born, she is very intelligent, a nice person, has lots of friends, and her Mom and Dad, and all of her brothers and sisters, my husband and me, all love her very much.

So I guess you are just wrong on about everything.

You have no room to talk I do believe YOU called me crapy. But I couldn;t care less. I am not a crybaby like some people. If you can;t take it quit dishing it out.
