  • Accepted at all schools they applied for. They all went to their top pick school that put the most emphasis on what their degree would be in. ie: son went to Michigan Tech University which is a top school for engineering

  • Some kids will get accepted everywhere they apply. Some will not.

Most schools have an early decision deadline and a regular deadline. Each school has a website that should list the dates for acceptance decisions.

  • I'm in the process of applying to 10 schools right now. I likely won't hear back until February, and I have to make my decision by May. I will likely take a month or so and make my decision, as it means moving my family to wherever I get in.

  • My daughters each only applied to one and got in. My son applied to two and chose one. They all found out they were accepted before it was time to pre-register and reserve their dorm rooms...about two months before the first day of classes..

  • my 19 yr old applied at her favorite school, and got in....but now my 27 yr old she has applied at 10 schools and they are all accepting her! and she is just getting this ego about it too, lol, now I'm thinking of having her pick 3, we can go on tours and then she can make the final decision

  • You should tour in order to decide if you haven't already.
