mute button anyone?

I need a remote that will let me put my kids on mute or pause. I swear these kids are testing thier limits with me and I can feel every nerve just standing up and saying enough.
I'm about ready to blow my stack. Does anyone know how I can get peace in my home?

  • My father invented a game called "Hush Mouth" for me and my sister to play on road trips. It took me years to catch on to what was really going on!

  • My 9 yr old SD is a chatterbox and she's very loud. I think she just likes to hear herself talk, sing, make funny noises, etc. Even when we tell her to "please lower your voice" or "please be quiet" while someone else is speaking it's as if we asked her the impossible, she just can't do it. She's smart too and won't fall for any of those quiet games I try to play. I've truly considered using noise canceling ear plugs at times.
