how do you change a lightbulb if it is in the stairwell?

do i have to get a guerilla ladder?

  • I have the same problem as you. If you look up from the bottom of our staircase there is this wall that the light is attached to. I cant get there by chair and I cant balance a dang thing on the steps to get me up that high..its been out for 3 yrs!

  • No, they make these pole things that you can use. Or do what I do... nag hubby until he can't take it anymore and changes the damn lightbulb already!

  • They sell pole things made just for that purpose but if you're lazy like my parents your stairwell light will be out for 15 years.

  • omg! i so do not want this bulb out for 15 years!!! it is a chandelier type fixture. we have a pole, but i don't think it will work.
