Checking to make sure Im ovulating- TTC

Sunday the line on the OPK was light. Monday it was darker but not the same as the test line. Tuesday the line was light again.. So I took it as a positive on monday- would you agree?

  • nope, keep testing. What cd are you on?

    It is NOT positive until the line is darker, just like the box says.

  • Yeah it has to be the same shade or darker. Is this your first month testing? Try again next month. If still nothing, I would see your OB about it. Periods do not confirm you are ovulating.

  • No. It's NOT a positive unless it's darker. OPKs won't confirm ovulation because they test for LH not the actual releasing of an egg. BBT charting will.

  • Postivie negative. Either way. We were busy in bed all week- hopefully itll pay off. Can test in a week.
